Emme loves her wombie. We tried using a sleep sack today instead, and she instantly crossed her arms across her body like when she is in the wombie. She had no clue what to do with her free arms. Emme made it clear to everyone in the house that she was not yet ready for all of that freedom with her arms. And within minutes of putting her in her much loved wombie, she was out cold.

Emme decided to blaze her own trail when it came time to be born...at 4:30 am, she decided that this was the place she wanted to make her entrance into the world. Lucky for her, her dad was a good catcher!

Jack's Big News...

Jack is quite excited (as we all are), to share this news with the world. Lil' H is due to make his or her appearance October 23.  This update might not be new news to many, since I am 14 1/2 weeks already. ut morning sickness has been brutal on all of us, so we have not had time to update the blog. Between getting a PICC to keep hydrated, being off work for 3 weeks due to constant vomiting all day and even in the middle of the night, this has been no joy ride. Poor Nathaniel was a single parent, shuffling Jack to and from school, taking care of him in the evening, and then taking care of me on top of it! But we are (mostly) out of that yucky phase and are slowing getting our lives back. We finally can get excited for the arrival of our newest family member.
