Nathaniel has always been able to get the biggest belly laughs from Jack. I absolutely adore listening to the sound of his laugh when they are just being silly together.
But you want to, right? You've come to THE place. We'll chronicle the smiles, laughs, stories and joy that are Jack. Welcome!

Tootsie Roll
Here is Jack trying is first tootsie roll ever. I don't know what I love more, the way he chews it, or the brief head bop back and forth to the music that was playing in the car!

Wrapped around Momma's Finger
Being the wonder sleeper that Jack is, we have had very few nights of restless sleep in his little 19 month life. Usually he falls asleep right away, and if not, he will sweetly talk, sing and jump until he is ready to fall into sweet slumber.
Tonight was a different story. Whether it was teething, thirstiness, or who knows what, he began crying/fussing about an hour after we put him down. So, up I went with ibuprofen and some milk. We sat in the rocking chair and chatted a bit. Then, I said, "let's cuddle a bit before you go back to bed." He said cuddle for the first time ever, and snuggled into my shoulder. Every time I would do something that made him think I was putting him down, he would throw his head on my shoulder, wrap his arm around me, and say, "cuddle." The boy is too smart, knowing that I would never say no to that. Not gonna lie, I never wanted those moments to end!
I also think that I am in trouble, since he clearly found my Achilles tendon!

Vilas Zoo with the Andersons
"Uh...the parents are OK with this?" Jack, Ben, Aiden, Lily, and Summer
Fun with the Puffin on the Vilas Zoo Carousel
All aboard!
Walking through dino bones!
Jack and I were quite excited to spend a beautiful day at Vilas Zoo with the Andersons. The kids has a blast looking at animals, riding the train and carousel, and going crazy on the climbing structures. Jack still talks about the "Szoo" as he calls it-every time he sees the picture of the Anderson family on our refrigerator, he says, "Szoo, Aien (Aiden)."
