Winter walks

Ever since we first started dating, Nathaniel and I have loved going on walks. So, we were quite excited when we realized that Jack is our little outdoor enthusiast who likes to carry on our nightly tradition. Unlike his momma, who has from time to time been known to complain about being cold, Jack LOVES cool/cold weather. This is how we roll for our nightly walks after dinner. Bundled is an understatement, but it is the only way to survive Wisconsin winters.

We were so happy to be part of Auntie Jazz and Uncle Brock's special day. The wedding was just beautiful. And as always, Jack had fun running around, trying to find Tommy (the cat). I am sure Tommy was never happier than the moment that we left!

In November we visited Grandma and Grandpa Briggs. Jack had a blast running in the path that they created in the trees surrounding the property. He made sure to find several favorite sticks, as well as taste test the leaves. Best of all, he broke in the tree swing that they got for him. He had so much fun he started crying when we took him out for lunch! Needless to say, he crashed the moment we hit the road :)

We know we have been negligent as Jack's agents keeping his "peeps" up to date with his daily activities. We are back on track with the new year, and are back blogging (better late than never, right?). Here is a glimpse of our busy little guy at the Madison Children's museum at the water exhibit in November. It is his favorite station there, and getting him to leave requires a lot of convincing!

Jack got his first pair of "real" kicks.  He walked all of Hilldale Mall breaking them in and making friends.
