Today was a big day for Nathaniel and me...we had our first date since Jack was born! Until today, Jack had always been with either Nathaniel or myself...we had to make sure that the first people who took care of him were super special. So, we were quite excited when Kacie, my good friend from anesthesia school, offered to watch him. She, and her husband Chad, were super-sitters. Nathaniel and I had such a great time out, and never once did we worry about Jack, because we knew he was in good hands. Jack had a blast. He could not stop talking about how much fun he had with them. I think he felt so comfortable because when he was in my belly, he heard Kacie's voice almost every day-it is like they are old friends!
Thanks so much for making our first mutual time away from Jack so relaxing and enjoyable!
